Biotal WholeCrop Gold Mill
The advent of the in-harvest processor mill has given wholecrop a wider harvest window.
Wholecrop can now be taken later at a higher dry matter, with the added benefit of slightly higher starch levels.
Wholecrop harvested at higher dry matter (>45%DM), must be processed by the milling unit fitted to the forage harvester, so that the grain can be digested by the animal. Unprocessed high dry matter wholecrop results in much of the grain passing through the animal undigested.
Wholecrop Gold Mill contains specific bacteria and enzymes, needed for the effective preservation and stability of wholecrop taken later at higher dry matters.
