Lallemand’s Animal Nutrition and Health group is dedicated to the development, production, and marketing of yeast and bacteria for agricultural applications.

Lallemand is the only major supplier of yeast or bacteria that is a primary producer of both. Core products are lyophilized bacteria for probiotics and silage inoculants, active dry yeast for probiotics, and inactive yeast mineral supplements. The unit also supplies a range of related animal health and nutrition products, including yeast cell fractions, diet acidifiers, and nutritional gels.

alkosel®R397 is a specific inactivated whole cell yeast (Saccharomyces cerevisiae) product.

Agrimos ®  is a specific combination of manno-oligosaccharides (MOS) and glucose (ß-glucans) extracted from the yeast cell walls of Saccharomyces cerevisiae.

Bactocell ® is a concentrated live lactic acid producing bacteria selected to enhance the nutrition and health of pigs.
