Levucell® SC is a concentrated live yeast specifically selected to enhance the nutrition and health of ruminants.
The strain (Saccharomyces CNCM I-1077) has been chosen for its specific properties :

• Stabilisation of rument pH and reduction in acidosis risk
• Stimulation of the microbial biomass of the rumen
• Stimulation of the enzymatic and cellulolytic activities in the rumen
• Improvement of the anaerobic rumen environment (anaerobiosis)

By enhanciing rumen health, Levucell® SC improves feed efficiency. Levucell® SC maximises the herd's potential in terms of quantity of milk by reducing the risks of acidosis.

Europe: On March 2007, Levucell® SC has been authorized in Europe as a zootechnical feed additive in dairy goats and sheep (E1711).
