Multi Strain Grease Degrader (MSGD)
MSGD is Biotal's premium grease degrader. It offers all the benefits of standard
grease degrader (GD) but is more concentrated and optimised for high-demand applications. Multi strain grease degrader employs a consortium of bacteria with different activities which complement each other, making MSGD effective over a wide range of operating conditions.
The
key features of the strains contained in the product are highlighted
below:
• Strong lipase production for the initial
breakdown of fats, oils and greases into
fatty acids and glycerol. This means MSGD liquefies fats extremely
efficiently.
• Specialist co-enymes for the subsequent break down of long-chain
fatty acids
into far smaller units. Long chain fatty acids comprise a major
part of common
oils and fats such as olive oil, palm oil, soya oil, sunflower oil
and tallow, and
their utilisation is an extremely important step in the total
degradation of
fats, oils and greases.

• Grow well at low temperature
